Anser X-Series Controllers
Two thermal inkjet controllers, one job: reliable, high-resolution coding that fits your line. Both the Anser X1 and the X1 Lite run a 7" touchscreen, print up to 600 dpi (60 m/min at 300 dpi; up to ~300 m/min at 60 dpi), and lay down the 1D and 2D codes your customers and retailers ask for — and both run the Odyssey ink line, each with its own printheads (1/2" and 1"). The difference is how much line you’re running.

Anser X1 Lite — cost-efficient, bulk-ink-ready
Built for small and mid-size lines that want the coverage without the overhead. The X1 Lite runs the 1" 160 mL High-Volume System, the lowest running cost at volume — pair it with the 1" bulk printhead and the 160 mL cartridge for the longest runs and fewest changeovers. Multiple DPI settings can cut ink consumption by up to 50%, so you dial quality against cost job by job. Runs one printhead at a time.

Anser X1 — advanced, dual-line
The step-up controller for demanding and dual-line work. Its controller housing is IP66-rated against dust and water (the printheads carry no IP rating), with a dual-cartridge parallel design for zero-downtime cartridge swaps, and dual-printhead capability — run two heads (stitch two 1" heads for a ~2" print height, or run two lines). Its NexGen coding supports HP, IUT and DHI printhead technologies.

Printhead & ink compatibility: each controller has its own printheads, and they don’t swap between controllers. The X1 runs the Type-H or HI-Pro (1/2" and 1" cartridges) and the T1XL (1" 160 mL). The X1 Lite runs the T2 Standard (1/2" and 1" cartridges) and the T2XL (1" 160 mL). The Smart Printhead runs standalone, or as a QuickSync follower to an X1 or X1 Lite. HP, IUT and DHI are the supported cartridge technologies, not separate products. Both controllers run the Odyssey ink line, not Evolution/EV inks.
