Anser

Anser X-Series Controllers

Two thermal inkjet controllers, one job: reliable, high-resolution coding that fits your line. Both the Anser X1 and the X1 Lite run a 7" touchscreen, print up to 600 dpi at up to ~300 m/min, and lay down the 1D and 2D codes compliance asks for — and both run the full Anser printhead lineup (1/2" and 1") and the Odyssey ink line. The difference is how much line you’re running.

Anser X1 Lite — cost-efficient, bulk-ink-ready

Anser X1 Lite — cost-efficient, bulk-ink-ready

Built for small and mid-size lines that want the coverage without the overhead. The X1 Lite is TPS’s preferred controller for the 1" 160 mL High-Volume System — pair it with the 1" bulk printhead and the 160 mL cartridge for the longest runs and fewest changeovers. Multiple DPI settings can cut ink consumption by up to 50%, so you dial quality against cost job by job. Runs one printhead at a time.

  • 7" touchscreen · up to 600 dpi · up to ~300 m/min
  • Bulk-ink-ready (160 mL XL Bulk Ink Cartridge)
  • Runs any Anser printhead (1/2" or 1")
Anser X1 — advanced, dual-line

Anser X1 — advanced, dual-line

The step-up controller for demanding and dual-line work. IP66-rated for dust/washdown environments, with a dual-cartridge parallel design for zero-downtime cartridge swaps, and dual-printhead capability — run two heads (stitch two 1" heads for a ~2" print height, or run two lines). Its NexGen coding supports HP, IUT, and Brady printhead technologies.

  • 7" capacitive touchscreen · IP66-rated
  • Dual printhead / dual-line · zero-downtime cartridge swaps
  • Stitch two 1" heads for ~2" print height (48.7 mm / 1.92")

Shared across both controllers

  • ·7" LCD touchscreen; up to 600 dpi; up to ~300 m/min
  • ·160 mL XL Bulk Ink readiness
  • ·1D & 2D codes: EAN/UPC, Code 39/128, ITF-14, GS1, QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec
  • ·Run the full Anser printhead lineup (1/2" and 1") and the Odyssey ink line

Printhead & ink compatibility: both controllers run the full Anser printhead lineup by size (1/2" and 1"). HP, IUT, and Brady are the supported printhead technologies — not separate products. They run the Odyssey ink line, not Evolution/EV inks.
